It is clear that John Maloney is innocent! When looking at and hearing all the evidence, as far as, everything that took place, etc... there's absolutely no doubt in my mind, that John deserves a new trial, so the "real evidence and truth" can be presented... and to be presented in a more fair and justifiable and appropriate manner.

Hence, what's more upsetting with this case is the "dirty practice's" that took place on both sides, which "in my opinion" has put an innocent man behind bars, as well as, took a father away from his children.

Now, I don't know any of these people, but after studying law for years, it saddens me that a man, whom has also studied and "practiced" the law, etc... "in my opinion", was convicted in a most unjustifiable manner... and whats even worst then that is... this is the same system of the law, in which he worked for, for years.

But again... has all been thrown away by placing him behind bars, and allowing the "dirty praticing people" to basically walk away after a few years, while John has to continuosly fight for his freedom, whom "in my opinion" is an innocent man.

Think about it... He couldn't have been too bad of a man... considering, the court's initially gave him custody of his children.  Interesting isn't it??

YES YES YES, there SHOULD be another trial--This whole thing should be started and reviewed infinitely from scratch with a fine tooth comb, especially in view of how crooked the egomaniac of a d.a. was-and  that fact that all of the evidence was never entered into the case at the time of trial. In view of the fact that the wife was a total alcoholic/drug addict, which is the Most AWFUL thing for a family to try to function/live with, and the evidence of copious amounts of blood that the luminal had shown up ( etc etc etc),you just can't overlook that type of thing. I'm sure Mr. Maloney is not a perfect person, but let's not forget how much those hotel tapes might have been cut-Hollywood has a field day with that kind of stuff, we all know that-and what was the bill for it??? Who paid them to show what the prosecutor's office might have wanted everybody to see. This discussion could just go on and on; so, ladies and gentlemen, in my opinion it was NOT a "cut-and-dried-the-guy-is-guilty-right-off-the-bat". A person is deemed GUILTY ONLY AFTER ALL THE FACTS HAVE BEEN GATHERED AND FULLY INVESTIGATED.

Mr. Maloney  no doubt MUST have a new trial.               He was convicted by CROOKED,  D.A.                                 Where was any D N A of Maloney found in the house.            If we let this go unsettled it just proves to my wife and I how crooked our so called justise system realy is???????

I think he should honestly get another trial. There are so many people being put away, when infact they are not guilty. One if the family reads this I hope for the best. I just got done watching 48 hours. I don't know how the judge can live with himself, that man was taken away from his family, my father was too. To me there is more facts that he did not do it than facts that he did. I wish for best and if anyone wants to talk about it write me at hotchicktx777@yahoo.com.

What a travesty of justice that all of the facts were not presented in Mr. Maloney's case!  The gentleman deserves a new trial where the jury members can make informed decisions based on all of the evidence.

The video tapes that lasted over 3 hours with the girlfriend, would anyone else consider that entrapment?  Yes I do agree he was angry in the video but wouldnt you be angry if someone was accusing you of murder?  I think he demonstrated great restraint not to hit her after all the hours she badgered him.. They need to review the tapes in full original unedited context!

YES!This man John I DON'T THINK he killed his wife,he needs a new trial and a better attorney. When John's attorney replied about the case.Quote"i can not say this wasn't a murder case,I couldn't prove any different."Well john your attorney doesn't need to be practicing law.Because thats his job.How do we know John's attorney wasn't paid off in some means. The attorney that put John in jail,if he was taking bribes and only told the jury what they needed to here AND NOT WHAT THEY SHOULD OF HEARD.Then i think he withheld evidence and should have been disbared.John's attorney why didn't he bring some of this evidence up.This is sad.An attorney wants to run for office and a big case will get him in, only if the man is guilty. This is terrible! So he made sure John was guilty.THAT IS NOT JUSTICE.THAT IS NOT THE AMERICAN WAY.That is plum selfish.

I believe Mr. Maloney deserves a new trial.  He has suffered long enough as a innocent man.  Those three boys should have had a voice in this.  What child in their right mind would lie about their parents relationship?  There were far too many questions that was opened in this story.   I know that if I was on the jury I would want to know every detail of evidence that is found on the crime scene.  Simply the the fact that there was a suicide note found and not emitted in court makes me outraged at the whole process and then the simple fact that the prosecutor was a pompous ### Looking out for only his own benefit, sickens me.  Where is the justice for Mr. Maloney?,  Hasnt his family suffered enough.

It is without a doubt that John Maloney deserves a new trial.  Has there been a "Fair Trial Fund for John" established?  If so, would like to donate towards his securing an attorney who would go to the wall for him and leave no stone unturned...
There is strength in numbers and John needs numbers - lots of numbers $$$$$
All I can say right now to John is to stay strong and don't give up!  There are people out here who care!

Independent medical examiners should have been used and all the evidence should have been given to the defense.  If the 2 younger sons where home with the father at the time of the murder why did they not let them testify?  How did they link him with being at the crime scene?  Why would a veteran cop not burn a bloody shirt instead of walking down stairs and putting it in a dirty clothes hamper?  The case needs to be reopened and a new trial issued!!  All of the cases should be reviewed that the crooked DA was involved in!  My prayers are with his sons, family and with him! In my opinion Not Guilty...
